The School of Magic — a clockwork of pure wonder.

The teaser for Twimagination's magical theatrical show — Η Σχολή Μαγείας και ο Μυστικός Γρίφος. We built the show's emblem from scratch — a bespoke astronomical clock — then set it alight with particles, fire and magical reveals. Design, 3D and motion, end‑to‑end.

01  —  Overview

Bringing the magic onto the screen.

Twimagination's show is a live magical theatrical performance with a full lighting-show experience. The teaser had one job: make an audience feel the wonder before a single trick is pulled.

So we built the campaign around a single hero object — a bespoke astronomical clock, the show's emblem and its "secret riddle." We designed it, modelled and textured it in 3D, then wrapped the whole teaser in particles, fire and magical appearances so the object doesn't just spin — it casts a spell. Three disciplines, one studio: design, 3D and motion. Concept and original music by Twimagination.

02  —  The Emblem

An astronomical clock, drawn from myth.

Working from historical references — the great astronomical clocks, the zodiac, a ring of runes — we designed the dial as flat vector artwork in Illustrator: roman numerals and rune markers, a zodiac band, sun and moon, and a single star-tipped hand. This is the object the whole show turns around — the Secret Riddle.

03  —  Building the Clock

From flat artwork to a dial you could almost wind.

The Illustrator paths became geometry in Cinema 4D — dial, rings, hands and a full watch-style mechanism — then materials: polished gold, aged brass, enamel and glass, lit to catch every engraved rune. Below, the finished piece on a slow turntable, and detail renders from the build.

Turntable. The graded 3D dial, rotating — modelled and textured in Cinema 4D from the Illustrator artwork.
  • Vector to volume. Illustrator dial paths brought into Cinema 4D and given real depth, bevels and thickness.
  • A real mechanism. Skeleton movement, gears and jewelled detail underneath, so close-ups hold up.
  • Materials with age. Polished gold, aged brass, deep enamel and glass — not a clean CG shine, but a prop with history.
  • Lit for the engraving. Raking light so every rune, numeral and tooth reads.
Rough 3D scene. Blocking the teaser in Cinema 4D — camera, clock and title staged in grey, before textures, particles, fire and grade go on.
04  —  The Teaser

Then we set it alight.

With the emblem built, the teaser became a piece of stagecraft. Titles assemble out of drifting particles, embers curl into fire, and the clock sweeps in on trails of light — every beat keyed to Twimagination's original music. Composed in Cinema 4D and After Effects.

Custom logotype

A title drawn by hand, letter by letter.

The show's magical display face had no Greek — so we hand-drew the missing letterforms and built «Η Σχολή Μαγείας» ourselves, exploring directions from bold to classical before carrying the chosen lettering into the film's carved 3D gold.

05  —  Deliverables

One teaser, shaped for every feed it had to live on.

  • 16:9 hero — the landscape master for web and YouTube.
  • 9:16 vertical — re-staged for Stories & Reels.
  • 1:1 square — for the in-feed social cut.
  • Title & logo lockup — the golden show logotype, with its custom hand-drawn Greek lettering, delivered for posters and key art.
The School of Magic title card — the astronomical clock above the golden Greek logotype
Made for the screen it plays on. The title card that closes every cut — clock and logotype, ready for each ratio. The teaser ran across Twimagination's channels ahead of the show.
